This course is specifically designed for those students who aspire to become a Tour Guide, work at tourist attractions and activities or even work within the exciting adventure tourism sector of the industry. Experience New Zealand
This New Zealand familiarisation trip offers you the chance to experience the best of New Zealand tourism. To be eligible you simply need to be on track for graduation and be meeting the attendance requirements. You may find yourself at a destination such as the Bay of Islands, Rotorua, Wellington, Nelson or Queenstown. This exciting trip allows you to experience every aspect of the tourism industry, from different forms of transportation and accommodation, through to attractions, activities and shows. Climb the Harbour Bridge, soak in a hot pool, go bungy jumping, jet boating or luging, what will you do? This three day trip is included in the cost of the course.
Become a Tour Guide
In the final week you will have the opportunity to lead a group through an attraction, putting what you have learnt into practice. You will organise and deliver the commentary, share information on the attraction and be able to answer questions from your group. This feature will be a highlight for many students and one they can add to their CV.
